Appreciation

Last night I was fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of one of my favorite things, appreciation and being appreciated.

With all that has happened with JSIC people keep thanking me for doing all I have done. I do appreciate the thanks but my response is that it is nothing that they wouldn't do for me and it's what friends are supposed to do for one another.

Last night, they agreed.

It's an awesome feeling to know that people have your back and appreciate you. The word "thank you", when said with sincerity, is one of the most gratifying phrases to my ears.

If I had done the same thing for another band and another person, I think we all know who I'm talking about, it not only wouldn't have been appreciated, it never would have been good enough. I would have exhausted myself and it would have never been worthy of his time.

Now, that is no longer the case and it fills me with an incredible amount of happiness that this has finally come into my life and, regret that I suffered through the other for so long.

I'm just really pleased with all that is happening in my life and the people that are in my life. I hope it continues. There's something to this whole being happy business.
